Taken last fall from an island on Pelican Lake, in St. Louis County.  I was duck hunting with my black lab, and the cloudy sky was perfectly reflected in the calm water.

As I walk around this beautiful old abandoned farmhouse, I reflect on the good and bad times this house has been a part of. I wonder if the family that once lived here have gone on to a "better place", and how long it will be before a bulldozer erases any lasting memories of the it's mere existence.
