IMPORTANT Student Expectations: It is expected that the registrant for each online seminar is the one who attends the offering. Each online seminar requires use of a computer connected to reliable internet. Registered attendees whose internet connection prohibits them from participating in the entire webinar risk losing CEH’s for the seminar. Attendance will be taken via timed poll multiple times per seminar. If attendees do not respond to the poll before it is closed, it will be taken as an absence from and that attendee may not receive CEH’s for the seminar.

Additionally, the seminar will need to be on the live working screen, meaning participants should not click “off” the webinar screen to do emails or other work during the seminar. The software tracks this as attentiveness and again jeopardizes CEH’s. It is recommended to have all other applications and programs closed during the online seminar to minimize this occurrence.

ADA Policy:  If you have a disability and may require some accommodations at any event, please notify us via email at least two weeks in advance and we will attempt to make reasonable accommodations.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellation requests received prior to 8:00 a.m., 1 business days prior to the start of the course will be issued a refund, less a $30 administration fee.  Cancellations requests received after this time or registrants who fail to attend the course are responsible for the entire fee.  If a registrant is unable to attend the event, a substitute from the jurisdiction that paid the registration fee can attend at no additional charge.  Please send written notification of this change or cancellation requests to [email protected].  Although it is not the policy of MAAO to cancel a course or seminar, MAAO reserves the right to do so and provide a full refund if the minimum enrollment level is not reached.  Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the date of the course or conference.
